My name is Bethany and I am a physical therapist based out of Washington state. I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees in the small and quaint town of Newberg, OR but moved back home to be near my family. I have a deep desire to change the way that we view health and wellness – not only within the recovery process, but also in empowering others to take ownership of their health so that it doesn’t prevent them from doing the things that bring them joy in life. I am a huge advocate in movement being our saving grace. Pain killers and medication are appropriate at times but I don’t think they should be something we become dependent on for pain free function. Movement is medicine. And I believe that God has blessed me with the knowledge, heart and gift to help people through my profession as a physical therapist to heal, educate and love them.
In my spare time I enjoy working out, hiking/backpacking in the beautiful PNW, snapping landscape photographs, playing tennis and basically anything that keeps me moving and active…except cardio. Don’t sign me up for that.
